    Tracing the evolution

    These projects trace the evolution of Pip's work across diversity, disability, creativity and social change. Each began with a different question, but all sought to challenge limiting assumptions and open up more inclusive ways of seeing ourselves and one another.

    You know how kids stare at people in wheelchairs and aren't sure what to say? Well, we want to change that. We want kids to run up to people in wheelchairs and say, “Wow! You must be a superhero!”

    As Love Draws Near

    This project aimed to increase the appreciation of disabled and Deaf people’s talents in the media by portraying diversity in a low-key, regular manner. It included a campaign to begin a new conversation with the public and media in New Zealand.

    Diversityworks Trust Inc was a vehicle founded by Pip in 2005 to promote diversity, creativity and social change.

    The trust closed in July 2015, having achieved its aims.
